Fine response, and I think your push towards finding out the circumstances which lead to good outcomes is likely a better path than that of Bryan’s.

My own optimization/ self-interest is one of whether or not you might like to have your book translated into Slovak? (I live in Slovakia) I imagine Slovak text and pictures, with a final few pages duplicating the English (so that it is bi-lingual).

You seem very offended and have taken this very personally and your retorts are therefore unecessarily snide. Perhaps you’ve misunderstood what a B+ means. When I write a paper and the professor reviews it, he tells me what he didn’t like, even if the paper is B+ (or better) quality work.

I realize it’s small-minded of me, but I find Caplan so consistently wrong-headed that his complaints move your book to the head of my to-buy queue.
